Mixed Media

The mixed media pieces are a focus for me on conflicting ideas and subject matter using materials to draw the conflict to the surface for the viewer.  Each piece is meant to express two positions of a problem and demonstrate the conflict, that is all their are not meant to be any solutions only the presentation of the problem and it is for you the viewer to act on the solution.

Religion vs. Technology

This piece is a representative of the conflict between modern religion and technology both in how religion is using technology to modernize and spread its word, and in how technology is fundamentally changing religion and the people who practice it.
This piece is made from oak moulding, circuit boards, antique bike cogs, broken mirrors, lacquer paint and acrylic on a wood base.
