Lampworked Glass
Lampworked refers to glass manipulated by a special torch that mounts to a table. The glass is melted from small colored rods then shaped. This gives the artist more freedom of rich detail on a much smaller scale than traditional blown glass.

This very sleek and beautiful spider is hand lampworked from soft glass. The body is black with white eyes and a creamy light blue solid tail. The legs are made of the same blue as the tail with bright transparent orange first joints and tips.
